On Saying Yes. And The Dress.

So we got married a week or two ago. I blogged about all of the details, except the dress. This is it. Made by my super-deluxe-talented friend, Sass.

What’s the use of having famous designer friends if you can’t ask them to dress you for special occasions? I went to Sandi’s house a few weeks ago and walked out of her house with two dresses, loads of accessories and a pair of pants. (One of the dresses I’d worn before, at a blogger shoot for Sass-dress owners.)

I also walked away gobsmacked by how much stuff she has in her cupboards. Her entire second bedroom is a walk-in closet of clothing, shoes and more accessories than five women could wear in a lifetime. I was completely jealous.

The best thing about these dresses? Aside from the fact that you can wear each of them a billion different ways, is how comfortable they are. And flattering. For all shapes and figures.

I loved the colour, I loved the fit. I loved the flow and how I felt when I wore it. So thank you, Sandi. For making the dress I wore when I changed my last name. Thank you for helping to make my day special. x
